The Watling Street Club is a primarily a businessmen's club, formed in 2008 by
22 ex-Rotarians. The aim is to enjoy recreational and community service activities
independent from a central regulatory body and to further good fellowship between
members by means of regular conversation and social activities.

The club meets every Thursday evening at 8.00 pm at the Old Palace Lodge
Hotel in Dunstable for a delicious two-course meal, usually followed by a very
interesting speaker - see the latest 'Meetings Programme'. One meeting each
month includes partners and wives.

The lively social calendar includes Quiz Nights, theatre trips and visits to places of
interest throughout the year, helping to ensure good attendances.
See the MEETINGS and EVENTS section for up-to-date information on this.
Members have also created an active fund-raising programme for the benefit of
local charities and other worthy causes.

On October 13th 2011, the club was inducted into the Association of Past
Rotarians whose motto is "In Fellowship We Serve" , which nicely summerises the
philosophy of the Watling Street Club which continues to operate independently
within the Past Rotarians organisation. The club has also provided the National
President and other officials of the Association from 2015 to 2018.

Potential new members from the business community, the retired and other like- minded individuals who are seeking friendship and active involvement with club
activities are assured of a warm welcome. If you would like more information or
to arrange for a trial visit, please see the 'Contact Us' section at the end of this
